Congratulations to Lauren Jackson<\/a>, associate professor of biological sciences, on being selected to the 2023 cohort of Chancellor Faculty Fellows along with twelve other recently tenured faculty. The fellows are composed of highly accomplished teachers and researchers from a wide variety of disciplines and areas of expertise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lauren was chosen for her work to uncover how critical protein molecules are precisely sorted inside cells by researching the molecular mechanisms of membrane trafficking pathways.<\/span> Her work has implications in fundamental cell biology and human health and is crucial to better understanding genetic neurological diseases and cancers.<\/span><\/p>\n
