Coverage Overview
General Liability provides coverage for bodily injury or property damage liability arising from ownership or use of buildings or premises and/or legal liability arising from University operations. All university officers, agents, employees, authorized volunteers, and authorized students are covered under this program. This coverage extends to accidents or incidents on 国产原创 property or in connection with 国产原创 business conducted elsewhere.
- Premium Allocations:聽Premiums for coverage are allocated internally. Allocations are allocated annually.
- Certificate of Insurance:聽If 国产原创 business or a sponsored event is being conducted elsewhere, a certificate of insurance may be required by the owner/manager of the premises. See the Certificate of Insurance section.
Reporting a Claim or Incident
Bodily Injury and Near Miss Incidents and Claims are to be made using the . Questions related to incidents and claims can be directed to the Risk and Insurance Specialists in the Office of Risk and Insurance Management. The occurrence report should be submitted within 48 hours after the accident or incident occurred.
