Housing"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Thanksgiving Break (Fall 2025)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Halls Close for Thanksgiving Break on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 9AM CST<\/li>\n<li>Halls Open after Thanksgiving Break on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 9AM CST<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All on-campus residents are eligible to register with housing to remain in their on-campus housing (residence hall or Greek house) for any portion of the Thanksgiving Break.\u00a0 There are no additional charges to remain on campus during the Thanksgiving Break.<\/p>\n<p>Thanksgiving Break registration opens in the Housing Portal on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 8AM CDT.\u00a0 Registrations must be submitted by Saturday, November 15 at 5PM CST.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Winter Break (2025-2026)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Halls Close for Winter Break on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 9AM CST<\/li>\n<li>Halls Open for the Spring 2026 Semester on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 9AM CST<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All residence halls and Greek houses are considered closed during the winter break period and students are expected to depart campus.\u00a0 Housing recognizes that a finite number of students may need to remain on campus during winter break for the following reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International students unable to travel home<\/li>\n<li>Verifiable employment\/research<\/li>\n<li>University athletic commitment<\/li>\n<li>Housing insecurity<\/li>\n<li>Other extreme circumstances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students requesting on-campus housing during winter break must be current enrolled undergraduates living on-campus for\u00a0<em>both the Fall and Spring semesters.<\/em>\u00a0 Students graduating in December, on a leave of absence\/suspension, or participating in a fall or spring study abroad or internship program will not be approved for on-campus winter break housing.\u00a0 Students who reside in Davidson, Robertson, Sumner, Wilson, Rutherford, Williamson, and Cheatham counties are generally not eligible for winter break housing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying for Winter Break Housing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Winter Break Housing Request will be available in the Housing Portal beginning Wednesday, October 1 at 8 AM and must be submitted by Friday, October 31 at 4PM.\u00a0 Late applications submitted by Saturday, November 15 at 11:59PM will incur a $50 late application fee.<\/p>\n<p>Students requesting winter break housing due to verifiable employment\/research will be required to produce supporting documentation.<\/p>\n<p>All applications will be reviewed for approval by a Student Affairs committee.\u00a0 Students not approved for winter break housing are required to depart campus by Sunday, December 14 at 9AM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Winter Break Housing Notification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students who submit their housing request by Friday, October 31 at 11:59PM will be notified no later than Friday, November 14.<\/p>\n<p>Students who submit a late housing request between Saturday, November 1 and Saturday, November 15 will be notified no later than Monday, December 1.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Spring Break (Spring 2026)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Halls Close for Spring Break on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 9AM CST<\/li>\n<li>Halls Open after Spring Break on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 9AM CDT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All on-campus residents are eligible to register with housing to remain in their on-campus housing (residence hall or Greek house) for any portion of the Spring Break.\u00a0 There are no additional charges to remain on campus during the Spring Break.<\/p>\n<p>Spring Break registration opens in the Housing Portal on Sunday,
