Intervention supports can have a substantial positive effect for students\u2019 reading and future academic outcomes. This certificate will provide graduate and professional students with the additional knowledge and skills required to support students with dyslexia in the educational system.<\/p>\n
The curriculum is designed to provide participants with current research on assessment and intervention for students with dyslexia and similar learning disabilities. Students will learn about the challenges students with dyslexia may encounter, engage in administration and interpretation of instructional literacy assessments, and prepare and implement evidence-based literacy interventions for students with or at-risk for dyslexia and other reading disabilities in Grades K-12.<\/p>\n
