Postdoctoral fellowship position in the Ormseth Lab at ¹ú²úÔ´´ Health in the Division of Rheumatology & Immunology. Studying how human and microbial microRNAs and other small RNAs in the circulation may contribute to the development of rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.

| Full Description | Project design and execution: Collaborate with the research team to develop project goals, design and optimize assays, conduct analyses, and present findings. Wet lab: Conduct small RNA next generation sequencing, in vitro assays of canonical and non-canonical small RNA function, tissue culture, ELISA, quantitative PCR and animal model studies. Dry lab: Incorporate bioinformatics, biostatistics (traditional and machine learning), pathway analysis and novel data display. Career development: Participate in institutional career development opportunities, Rheumatology research conferences and weekly Grand Rounds, and seminars for training in manuscript and grant writing. |
