A six-session learning community where faculty build a personal AI toolkit, constructing custom tools tied to their own courses and students. Each session focuses on a different AI tool category with hands-on build time and discipline-paired peer collaboration. Participants leave each session with a working prototype.

Design a custom AI assistant trained on your own course materials—syllabus, readings, or FAQs—to support students between class sessions. Build options include: course Q&A bots, study guide assistants, and concept explainer tutors.
Build tools that generate structured, rubric-aligned draft feedback on student work. The faculty member remains the evaluator; the AI handles the scaffolding. Build options include: draft feedback generators, peer review scaffolders, and pre-submission self-check tools.
Create tools that produce course-specific content on demand—discussion prompts, case studies, reading questions, or differentiated explanations of difficult concepts. Focus is on discipline-specific customization.
Shift focus to reducing faculty workload behind the scenes: drafting communications, summarizing student feedback, generating quiz items from lecture notes, and managing routine administrative tasks more efficiently.
Build tools that support the design of assignments and assessments—generating AI-resilient prompts, building rubrics from learning objectives, and scaffolding multi-stage assignment sequences.
Participants demo their most useful build to the full group. Structured peer feedback guides reflection on what worked and what to try next. The session closes with the launch of a shared, searchable toolkit repository available to all campuses.
