| Are you passionate about Data Science and digital media? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Undergraduate Data Science minor is currently seeking a Digital Media Assistant for the spring semester.
As a Digital Media Assistant, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Primary designer of visual assets such as infographics, posters, flyers, and digital media
• Create visually appealing layouts for website content, articles, and newsletters
• Research and write articles for website and newsletter
• Craft engaging and informative content related to AI, including news, trends, and advancements in the field
• Monitor and leverage VU newsletters and announcements about DS Minor students
• Conduct interviews with: individuals involved in DS/AI projects on campus, accomplishments of DS Minor students and faculty and transforming those interviews into compelling articles
• Assist in disseminating DS Minor news, articles, and announcements across campus digital media
This position offers up to 10 hours per week, with a minimum of 2 hours spent working in our office. It’s a flexible opportunity that allows you to contribute both remotely and collaboratively in our workspace.
