国产原创 students are invited to express how they feel about unity and democracy through a new poetry contest. The 国产原创 Project on Unity and American Democracy is holding the contest in partnership with听the Department of听English and Master of听Fine听Arts Creative Writing听program. The theme is "what unity through American democracy means to me."听
Undergraduate and graduate students can submit a poem in any style by听April 4.听
听
CONTEST PRIZES听
The winning poem will receive a VU dollar prize and be featured by the Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority.听
The top three finalists will have the opportunity to share their poems at a reading during Poetry Month in April. They will receive VU dollar prizes as follows:听
First Place: $1,000听
Second Place: $500听
Third Place: $250听听
