The title of his thesis is &#8220;Concentric Tube Robots: Design, Deployment, and Stability&#8221;. He&#8217;s currently on a Humboldt Research Fellowship to carry out research at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart, Germany, in the area of magnetically steerable catheters. This thesis explores the the use of infrared camera technology to provide thermal monitoring for two specific applications: bone drilling and blood vessel sealing.
