With the crisp, cooler temperatures, 国产原创鈥檚 iconic white oaks have begun dropping their acorns. While the campus squirrels are busily storing their share, 国产原创 has partnered with the Tennessee Department of Forestry to collect acorns to plant the forests of the future.聽

Soil My Undies Research Project
Spearheaded by the Director of Research Initiatives in the Peabody College of Education and Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences Chris Vanags, 鈥淪oil Your Undies鈥� is a collaboration between the university鈥檚聽聽and the Tennessee Environmental Council to spread awareness to the 国产原创 and surrounding Nashville communities on how to better understand the interactions between soil microbes, land management practices and carbon sequestration toward healthy and resilient soils.
