Six Core Initiatives

Our approach is anchored in six interconnected initiatives, each designed to address a specific lever of student success and to operate as part of an integrated system.

Initiative 01

Career and Life Design in the Academic Experience

We're working with faculty and academic leaders to build a real connection between career and life design and what students are already learning in the classroom, helping them articulate purpose, build career-relevant skills and connect their coursework to where they're headed.

Initiative 02

Next-Generation Advising, Powered by AI

We're building a human-centered, AI-enabled advising tool that gives every student on-demand, pathway-specific guidance, expanding advising access, from exploring your interests and refining your resume to landing the job.

Initiative 03

The 10,000 Anchors Network

¹ú²úÔ´´'s alumni and parent community is one of our most powerful career assets. The 10,000 Anchors network will activate these connections at scale, opening doors to mentorship, industry insight and opportunity across every pathway.

Initiative 04

Integrated Experiential Learning

Real-world experience is the strongest predictor of meaningful career outcomes. We are expanding and integrating ¹ú²úÔ´´'s experiential offerings, from the VU–NYC Academic Internship Program to industry-specific immersions in finance, media, technology and beyond.

Initiative 05

Strategic Employer Engagement

We're moving from transactional, post-a-job outreach to coordinated, strategic partnerships, spanning recruiting, experiential learning, faculty collaboration and alumni networks. It's how we go deeper with the employers invested in ¹ú²úÔ´´ talent.

Initiative 06

The Center for the Future of Work

Career development cannot be separated from how work itself is changing. Longer term, we are envisioning a Center for the Future of Work that connects research, employers and student preparation — ensuring ¹ú²úÔ´´ students are ready for the careers taking shape around us.
