What the Program Looks Like
You'll work 18-28 hours a week, based on-site in New York City (30-50% in-office, with limited remote work when it fits your employer's expectations). Your schedule is built around your classes, not the other way around.
This program is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors from across the university, the College of Arts and Science, School of Engineering, and Peabody College (Human and Organizational Development) are all represented. Whatever your internship is, it's tied directly to your academic requirements, and you're supported through a dedicated, for-credit course all semester.

The Career Center is your source for internship advising throughout this program, whether you're matched through our placement process or pursuing something independently.
- Going through the match process? The Career Center is dedicated to guiding you through resume prep, interview readiness (including Big Interview or mock interviews), and the employer matching timeline.
- Searching independently? You still need to notify the Career Center and your school, and meet with a coach or adviser. That check-in confirms your internship meets your school's academic requirements, aligns with your Director of Undergraduate Studies' major requirements, and satisfies university and Career Center employer standards, before your placement is final.
Both paths lead to the same milestones: a Commit Deadline of November 3, and required participation in pre-departure orientation and the Internship Preparation Bootcamp before you leave.
