Fitness Instructional Programs
Instructional fitness programs offer organized, skill-based, and progressive learning experiences designed to assist participants in acquiring new skills, improving technique, and building confidence in specific activities. These programs require registration and follow a structured plan over several weeks, building upon the needed skills.Â
Shotokan Karate
This class introduces Shotokan karate, a traditional Japanese martial art. Students will learn and practice stances, blocks, and movement while progressing at their own pace. Classes meet twice per week and are open to all levels. Each session is divided into two parts: the first hour focuses on beginner techniques, while the second hour is dedicated to intermediate and advanced practice.
